           Before working with Velocity, one of my biggest challenges was that people didn’t always fully understand what I do. My work doesn’t fit neatly into a single box, and without clear messaging, it was easy for others to misunderstand the scope or value of my services. I also struggled with explaining my work in a simple way that still reflected how relationship-based it is. The website, in particular, wasn’t doing a great job of telling that story. It didn’t clearly show how I work with clients or what makes my approach different. The Velocity team took the time to really learn my business and ask the right questions. That made a big difference. They helped translate what I do into clearer language that others can understand more easily, without losing what makes the work meaningful.

            Our sales and marketing strategies were almost non-existent, and we reached on a small population. Our website was not maintained well and always outdated.

           Yes, I would. I would tell them to be honest and forthright about their expectancies and that VPG will be better prepared to meet those expectations. I would tell them to communicate often and if ever you have an issue, to discuss it up front so VPG can fix any miscommunications and to allow VPG to do an honest assessment of the current marketing strategies being used and take their advice on things they want to recommend for change. They have good ideas and they just need the ability to implement the ideas. VPG can take your company to the next level if you allow them too.

           Velocity Partners Group began work with DKB Consulting, Inc. in summer of 2025. The company was a well-established software and application development firm, veteran owned and operated by Danny Bloodworth. When it was time for the company to expand, Danny partnered with career network technologist, Garry James and the two decided to launch an MSP as their new service offering. Located in Stockbridge, Georgia, the company partnered with VPG to consult on their entire infrastructure plan, operational plan and finance plan to align the company's goals with achievable outcomes. By the end of 2026, the company alignment had reached the point of go-to-market readiness.

           Our main goal is to help people and become trusted partners to our customers. We’re proud to be Veteran owned and want to showcase that in our brand and in our marketing efforts. We want to help our customers be successful which will drive our own success as a provider. We want all of our marketing efforts to speak to who we are as people and as a company – a service oriented, customer-first approach.

            Frankly, we’ve operated since 2007 solely on word-of-mouth connections before partnering with VPG. Our marketing expertise is minimal at best. We’ve tried other firms before, but none were a good fit. We specifically searched for a digital marketing company with IT savvy. VPG was a perfect fit for us because of Ned’s involvement as a partner in a company similar to DKB.

              We asked a lot of VPG from the very beginning. We sought validation that our approach to business was sound well before we started to allow them to market DKB as a provider. It’s important to our team that we provide quality service at a fair price to our customers. We care about people in general, but when a company relies on DKB to be a partner in their success, we don’t take that lightly.

           Here's what you need to know about QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation. This includes helpful info on how to upgrade your desktop product or how to move to QuickBooks Online. We notify you in advance (through email, in-product notifications, the mail, and this page) as services for older versions of QuickBooks Desktop are scheduled to be discontinued.

           When does service discontinuation happen?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/h3&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           After May 31, 2025, your QuickBooks Desktop 2022 software will be discontinued. This includes all 2022 versions of QuickBooks Desktop Pro, QuickBooks Desktop Premier, QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions v22. Other Intuit products are affected by the software discontinuation. If you don't upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop 2022 by May 31, 2025, you won't have access to live technical support if you run into problems or any of the other Intuit services that can be integrated with QuickBooks Desktop. This includes QuickBooks Desktop Payroll, QuickBooks Desktop Payments, and online bank feeds. Discontinued versions won't receive the latest critical security patches and updates.
