Maurice Velasquez is a successful trainer, consultant, and coach with a career spanning since 1994, with a key focus of empowering leaders and managers to create a lasting impact on their team cultures. Maurice has an extensive background in various industries and has become a trusted advisor to executives and professionals seeking to transform their leadership teams and catapult their companies to scalable growth.

In 1994, Maurice founded Computer Software Academy, dedicated to providing computer and IT training. He sold it in 2000, and for three years managed former competing training companies, where he spearheaded the establishment of their professional skills training divisions. It was during this time that he honed his expertise in leadership development, team building, and organizational alignment.

In 2003, he embarked on a momentous role as a driving force behind the expansion and growth of a large, regional insurance company as their Director of Field Operations into multiple states and opening offices throughout the country. This experience culminated in the development of his alignment model, which is proven to be a transformative approach that he now imparts to his clients with his program.

In 2008, he founded Team Real World, a training and consulting firm with a core mission to foster scalable growth for companies by nurturing exceptional leaders. With his flagship 12-week "Get out Storming" program, he guides organizations to enhance their internal alignment, fostering cohesion and collaboration among teams. His clients then continue with his monthly coaching after the training for successful implementation and mastery. In 2022, Maurice rebranded his company to “Maurice Velasquez Leadership & Management”.

With a commendable track record, Maurice has lent his expertise to hundreds of companies across Louisiana and beyond, in both the private and non-profit sectors. His workshops, courses, and online resources have served as a catalyst for positive leadership and management transformation. To serve his growing national audience, he now hosts a weekly podcast titled "Winning in the Workplace," and weekly provides new content in his membership video library.
