State Licensing Board Brings their Digital A-Game.
State Licensing Board Partners with VPG to Bring Their 'Digital A-Game'.
What is important to your business when it comes to your brand, your message, and positioning your services?
We want our image to be seen as a recognizable governmental regulatory agency that supports and educates the private security industry towards compliance of the laws of this state.
What were your main challenges/issues with sales & marketing prior to partnering with VPG?
There was little awareness throughout the state that information via the website was easily accessible. Many companies that were looking for private contract security didn’t realize that they needed to hire companies that were licensed and the guards had been registered. There is a natural tendency to believe that training and background checks were done, unfortunately, this isn’t guaranteed. Historically, in reference to our website, information that was displayed was out of date or inaccurate. The challenge is that state agencies don’t often have a large budget for marketing nor do they have the internal capacity for these tasks.
What impressed you the most about VPG’s consulting solutions?
Ned sat down with us and listened to where we were, our desires and helped create a plan to accomplish our goals. He gave us lots of ideas to consider and also helped us make some contacts with key players. He was patient and understanding, never forceful.
How has the VPG team performed in terms of understanding your business and accomplishing goals?
Ned and his team have a tremendous service model. They are attentive and quick to action. We have been able to make real time adjustments to the website with ever-changing information.
Would you recommend VPG to your colleagues and friends and if so, what is the one thing you would convey to them about working with us?
Absolutely, we would recommend Ned and his team to others. I would convey to them that Ned’s team and the assessment/feedback is not a one and done. His team desires to parallel themselves to your organization’s goals and will be flexible to the changes needed for overall success.
